UK operator Zenith Aviation has enjoyed a record year with flight hours up 35 per cent compared to 2016, thanks in part to the 2016 purchase of two Learjet 75s. The company has purchased a further two of the type, the first of which is due for delivery in February.

MD Stuart Mulholland comments: “Our existing Learjet 75s have exceeded our wildest expectations in the level of activity generated so we are hoping that our new aircraft can maintain this trend. We are certainly interested in adding more aircraft to our fleet.”

Zenith is currently considering longer range aircraft, enabling it to develop a presence in a new area of the charter market. Mulholland adds: “Based on our experience throughout 2017 I would have to say that the market looks extremely buoyant, with significantly higher levels of activity than in previous years and hopefully this trend will continue as we move into the New Year.”

Zenith Aviation marked the end of a successful year with a VIP private party, hosted in conjun-ction with Bombardier at London Biggin Hill airport, where guests were wowed by the cast of Les Miserables, a champagne reception and a festive three-course dinner.
