B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer for AOG Response / Line and Base Maintenance with type ratings available

Due to our continuous growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a B1 Licensed Engineer to join Zenith Aviation, a Part 145 MRO based at Biggin Hill Airport to support our growing activities with fleet and third party AOG support as well as supporting the Line and Base activities.

Essential
  • EASA Part 66 B1.1 Licence.
  • Current Human Factors, EWIS and Fuel Tank Safety and SMS certificates.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Unrestricted right to live and work in the UK.
  • Able to obtain airside security clearance.

 

Desirable
  • B1 EASA Part 66 License.
  •  BD700 Global, Learjet 40/45/75, Challenger 300/350, 604/605, Citation 560XLS or similar type rating. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Corporate maintenance experience.

 

Skills Duties and knowledge
  • Must have the ability to respond and manage overseas and domestic AOG situations in order to support Fleet and third party customers with an extremely high level of professionalism and with a personable approach.
  • Assist with certifying base and line maintenance in accordance with the approved data on both group and customer aircraft within the allocated timeframe.
  • Ensure that Airworthiness, Safety and Quality Controls are complied with at all times.
  • Computer literate and familiar with CAFAM and Microsoft Office products.
  • Must be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of aircraft systems and industry procedures including troubleshooting of defects.
  • Must be highly proficient with aircraft documentation and have a broad skill set in aircraft maintenance, repair and trouble shooting.
  • Must have excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Must have good planning and time management skills.
  • Must be highly motivated and a good team member.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and in a flexible manner.
