Airworthiness Engineer

Zenith Aviation Limited, a Sunday Times Best Company to work for are looking for a full-time Airworthiness Engineer to work 40 hours per week, based at Biggin Hill airport. 

  • Carry out day-to-day activities of the Part M Department and ad-hoc projects
  • Obtaining and updating maintenance data
  • Maintaining aircraft record
  • Liaison with maintenance and maintenance management
  • Forecasting and maintenance planning
  • Verification and tracking of mandatory and non-mandatory modifications
  • Proactive approach anticipating upcoming maintenance orders
  • Distinctive analytical and conceptual thinking
  • Scheduling maintenance events including coordinating quotes from maintenance centres
  • Monitoring the operating times of aircraft and their components
  • Update, control and preparation of work packages in the planning tool CAMP
  • Assist with ARC preparation
  • Analysis of SBs, ADs and modifications
  • Keeping and archiving maintenance records

 

Requirements
  • Have extensive experience in aircraft maintenance and continuing airworthiness management
  • Preferably hold a relevant aeronautical qualification such as a Part 66 licence, degree or equivalent
  • A good command of written and spoken English
  • IT proficient, very good MS-Office skills
  • Problem-solving & good decision making skills
  • Experience of business jets would be a distinct advantage.
  • Candidates must hold a full clean driving licence.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work and reside within the United Kingdom.
  • This role is likely to evolve into shift work, so candidate should be prepared to work a shift system if required
